KATIE GALIOTO

Hi, and thanks for stopping by my portfolio! I’m Katie Galioto, a reporter and editor based in Minneapolis. Check out my clips and my resume.

I currently work for the Star Tribune, covering city government in St. Paul — so I fortunately get to split my time between Minnesota’s Twin Cities (and have taken full advantage of that opportunity by seeking out the best coffee shops, restaurants and cocktail bars in both).

I previously helped launch the Star Tribune’s bureau in Duluth, where stories took me up the North Shore of Lake Superior and into Minnesota’s Iron Range. Before that, I worked stints at POLITICO, the Chicago Tribune and the Concord Monitor.

Outside of work, I enjoy frequenting the Twin Cities’ many concert venues, cheering on my alma mater’s football team (go Irish!) and browsing my local bookstores.
